How do I send an appointment reminder to a client?
Open the relevant appointment in the calendar and click Send a reminder: the client gets a notification, a toast confirms it went out. Automatic reminders are set from the appointment form.

Open the relevant appointment's detail view in the calendar, then click Send a reminder. A toast confirms it was sent immediately. This manual reminder comes on top of the automatic reminders you can set directly in the appointment form.
Send a manual reminder
Click an appointment on the grid to open its detail view. The Send a reminder button triggers an immediate send to the client. It's useful when you want to nudge a client without waiting for the next scheduled automatic reminder, for instance ahead of an important appointment or after no response.
Set up automatic reminders
Besides the manual reminder, you can turn on automatic reminders (for instance, the day before the appointment) directly in the appointment's creation or edit form, in the dedicated reminders section. Once turned on, these reminders go out on their own as the date approaches, with no action needed from you.
Edge cases
You're not sure the reminder actually reached the client. The toast only confirms the send was triggered from your dashboard. If you're unsure it was received, the most reliable option is to contact the client directly.
You want to avoid sending too many reminders to the same client. The manual reminder is a one-off trigger: it doesn't replace or turn off any automatic reminders already scheduled. If both are active, the client may get several notifications for the same appointment.
The reminder button doesn't show up. Check that you're in the detail view of a confirmed appointment, not a blocked slot or a break: reminders only apply to client appointments.
