How do I move or reschedule an appointment?

Drag and drop an appointment on the grid (desktop) or use the Reschedule action from its detail view, depending on its status.

Updated on July 3, 2026

On desktop, drag the appointment card to a new slot on the grid: the move applies right away. From any device, you can also open the appointment's detail view and use the Reschedule action to pick a new slot.

Move an appointment by drag and drop

On the calendar grid (desktop only), click the appointment card and drag it to the new slot. The update shows immediately; if saving fails on the server side, the appointment visually snaps back to its original slot.

Reschedule from the appointment's detail view

Open the appointment and choose the Reschedule action. Pick a new slot: the same update applies as with drag and drop. This method works on mobile, unlike drag and drop.

When an appointment can't be rescheduled

Some appointments can't be moved.

  • Completed, canceled, or no-show appointments: these statuses are final, no rescheduling is possible.
  • Appointments already in the past: locked, except for notes, which you can still add.
  • Fields locked for fiscal reasons: once an appointment is locked by a register closing, the amount and deposit can no longer be edited, even though the slot itself may still be movable as long as the status allows it.

Edge cases

You want to reschedule an appointment that's in progress. That's possible: confirmed and in-progress statuses allow rescheduling.

The new slot overlaps another appointment. Pick a different slot: the system refuses a move that would create an overlap.

You dragged the card to the wrong slot. If saving fails, the card automatically snaps back to its original slot, nothing to fix manually. If the move was actually saved, drag it again or use the Reschedule action instead.
