How do I show my client's first name in my personal calendar?
From Settings > Connections, turn on, per connected account, an enriched title that replaces the generic 'Occupé' label with the client's first name, never their last name or an amount.

View as MarkdownBy default, Sweb writes "Occupé" (French for "Busy", kept as-is no matter your display language) as the title of your appointments in your connected personal calendar, with no client data at all. From Settings > Connections, you can turn on, account by account, an enriched title that shows the client's first name instead.
The default title: "Occupé"
This generic title is what Sweb writes until you turn anything on, and on every new calendar you connect. It stays "Occupé" even when your Sweb interface is in English, it never gets translated to "Busy". No first name, no last name, no amount, no service ever appears in it. Your personal calendar is often shared, with your studio, or with someone close to you: that's why this neutral title is the starting point, not one option among others.
Turn on the client's first name
On each connected account's card, in Settings > Connections, a "Show client's first name in the title" setting lets you switch to a title formatted as "RDV · First name" (for example "RDV · Marie"; the "RDV ·" prefix also stays in French). Because this switch makes a first name readable by anyone with access to that calendar, including anyone you share it with, you must first tick a dedicated box, never pre-ticked, that spells out exactly what you are authorizing.
The setting is specific to each connected account, not global to your studio: if you've connected two Google accounts, you turn the first name on or off independently on each one. It still shows even on an account that isn't receiving any appointments yet, the one that isn't your write destination: it will apply once you designate that account later.
What never appears
Whether the enriched title is on or off, Sweb never writes the client's last name, the appointment amount, or the service booked, into your personal calendar. Only the first name, exactly as recorded on the client's record, can appear, and only if you've explicitly turned it on for that account.
Turning off the first name
You can withdraw this authorization at any time, without disconnecting your calendar. Sweb then removes the first name from your upcoming appointments as soon as your calendar is reachable again. Appointments that already happened keep the title they had at the time: whatever your calendar, and anyone you share it with, has already displayed can't be taken back.
If a client doesn't want their first name to show
Sweb doesn't currently offer a per-client setting to exclude one client from the enriched title. If a client tells you they don't want their first name to appear in your personal calendar, the fix is simple: edit the first name field on their client record, for example with an initial or a nickname. Sweb always shows exactly what that field holds, nothing else, so editing it is enough to remove their real first name from their next appointments, without touching the enriched title setting itself or affecting any other client.
Inform your clients
If you turn on the client's first name in your personal calendar, tell your clients about it, that's what makes this legitimate. Here's a paragraph you can copy as-is into your privacy policy or your appointment confirmation email. It is validated in French only for now, an English version has not been reviewed yet, and it speaks directly to your client using the French formal "vous", unlike the rest of this page:
Vos rendez-vous sont enregistrés dans l'agenda électronique du studio. Votre prénom peut y figurer dans le titre du rendez-vous, afin que nous identifions nos rendez-vous ; cet agenda peut être partagé avec les autres membres du studio. Aucun montant ni aucune prestation n'y apparaît. Vous pouvez à tout moment demander que votre prénom n'y figure pas : écrivez-nous et nous le retirerons.
Edge cases
The first name field on the client record is greyed out. That means this client has their own Sweb account: their contact details belong to them, so they stay read-only on your record. Contact them so they can change their own first name, or write to us.
The setting is on but no first name shows up with the provider. Check that this account is actually your write destination, in the "Where to write your appointments" section of the Connections page: an account without a destination keeps the setting ready, but never receives any appointments.
Your calendar was disconnected while the setting was on. The change stays saved on Sweb's side, but the titles already written with your provider will only update once the account is reconnected.
