How do I set up my notifications?

Everything is set from Settings > Notifications: you first turn on push notifications for this device, then choose, category by category, whether you want to be notified by email, push, both, or neither.
Turn on push for your device
The top of the page offers to turn on push notifications for this specific device. Your browser will ask for permission; if you'd already declined it, the page explains how to re-enable it in your browser settings.
Choose by category
A matrix lists the notification categories (appointments, payments, quotes, projects, messages, reviews, consent, account, marketing) with two columns, Email and Push. You check or uncheck each category independently.
- The Account category always stays on: these are essential notifications (security, billing) that can't be turned off.
- If you turn on push for a category while global push is still off on this device, it turns on automatically at the same time.
Upcoming appointment reminders
A dedicated section lets you turn on a local reminder shortly before an appointment, with a delay you choose between 1 and 30 minutes. This setting stays specific to this device and doesn't sync across your other screens.
Edge cases
Push won't turn on. Check that your browser allows notifications for the site: if you'd clicked "Block" in the past, you need to change that choice in your browser settings, the app can't ask again automatically.
You're no longer receiving certain emails. Check that the matching category is checked in the Email column: each category is set independently.
You switch devices. Push is specific to each device: remember to turn it back on on a new phone or computer if you want to keep receiving it everywhere.
