How do I set up auto-confirmation and booking notice?

Configure the minimum notice, the advance booking window, and appointment auto-confirmation from Settings > Online booking.

Updated on July 3, 2026

Everything is set in Settings > Online booking: the minimum notice before an appointment, the maximum advance booking window, and the auto-confirmation policy (which decides whether an appointment confirms itself or waits for your approval).

Turning on online booking

A first toggle turns online booking fully on or off. Turned off, your public profile stays visible but clients can no longer book directly, they have to contact you by message.

Setting the minimum notice

The notice period is the minimum time between when a client books and the start of the appointment. You can set it between 1 hour and 2 weeks. A short notice (1h) suits you if you handle a lot of walk-ins or last-minute slots. A longer notice (48h, a week) gives you time to prepare each session (stencil, supplies, exchange with the client).

Setting the advance booking window

This is the maximum number of days ahead a client can book. By default it's set to 730 days (2 years), but you can reduce it if you'd rather keep your schedule open over a shorter period, for example 90 days.

Choosing the auto-confirmation policy

Three options determine whether an appointment booked online confirms automatically or waits for your manual approval.

  • All appointments: every online booking is confirmed automatically, no action needed from you.
  • First appointment only: new clients go through manual approval (handy for screening requests before a first contact), returning clients are auto-confirmed.
  • No auto-confirmation: you approve every booking yourself before it becomes final.

Setting the minimum break between two appointments

In the collapsible "Availability rules" section, you can set a minimum break automatically blocked between two consecutive appointments, to clean your station or catch your breath between sessions.

Managing requests and quotes

If you accept custom project requests, the "Requests & quotes" section lets you allow quote negotiation with the client and set your response time (between 1 and 30 business days). This delay is shown to the client so they know when to expect your reply.

Edge cases

A client managed to book a slot that's too close. Check your minimum notice: if it's too short for your workflow, increase it.

I want to approve every new client before confirming. Choose "First appointment only": regulars keep automatic confirmation, new faces go through you.

Day-by-day hours aren't here. Since the calendar and schedule merged, weekly hours and lunch breaks are set directly in the calendar, not on this page.
