How to add an artist to my studio?

From Team, click Add an artist: a panel opens to fill in the new member's identity, contact info, color, and role. A live check warns you if this member already exists. Once saved, you're redirected to their profile.

Open the add panel

From the team list, click Add an artist. An artist color that's still available is preselected automatically.

Fill in the member

The form asks you, in order, for:

• Identity: first name, last name, date of birth (the member must be 18 or older).
• Contact: email and phone. The email must be valid, it's used to send the invitation.
• Artist color, used to spot them in the calendar and the team schedule.
• Languages spoken, useful to route clients appropriately.
• Role and permissions: role (artist by default, manager, receptionist, or apprentice), employment status, residency, seniority.
• Specialties: at least one required, it's used to filter searches and the skills shown on their profile.

Avoiding duplicates

While you type, a check compares the name, email, and phone entered against members already in your team. If a match is found, a warning banner appears and the save button stays disabled until the information is corrected.

After saving

A confirmation message appears and you're redirected to the new member's profile. From this profile, you can then:

• Set the services they offer (their skills), grouped by category.
• Fill in their signature styles and stats.
• Configure their schedule and working hours.

Edge cases

The member might already exist. Check the warning banner while typing: a name, email, or phone close to an existing member is enough to trigger it.

You want to add a studio owner. The owner role can't be created from this panel, it's reserved for the initial creation of the studio account. The roles available here are artist, manager, receptionist, and apprentice.

The new member has no services assigned yet. That's expected right after creation: go to their profile to check the services they offer from the studio's catalog.
