How to organize references, drafts, and stencils for a project?
The Visuals tab centralizes references, placement, stencil, and session photos. The Drafts tab manages your design proposals as editable cards.

From a project's detail view, the Visuals tab centralizes your images into 4 categories (references, placement, stencil, session photos), and the Drafts tab lets you manage your design proposals as cards. Both are accessible at every stage of the project.
The Visuals tab
Open the project's detail view, then the Visuals tab. You'll find 4 distinct galleries there:
- Tattoo references: inspiration images brought by the client or by you.
- Placement: photos showing the body area involved.
- Stencil: the template you prepare before the session.
- Session photos: sorted by session number.
To add an image, drag it directly into the relevant gallery or use the file picker. Click an image to open it full screen and navigate through the others. To remove it, hover over it and click the trash icon. A menu on each image also lets you manage its labels.
Session photos follow a special rule: a slot for a session only opens once the linked appointment has moved to in progress, healing, or done. Until the session has started, you can't add photos to it yet.
The Drafts tab
Open the Drafts tab to manage your design proposals. Each draft is a card you can edit: name, description, attached visuals, and status tags. On desktop, cards display in two columns; on mobile, in a single column.
To create a draft, click New draft. Fill in the name and description (saved automatically as you type), add reference visuals if needed, then choose one or more status tags to show where the proposal stands. A menu on each card lets you approve, archive, or delete the draft.
Edge cases
I can't add a photo for my next session yet. That's expected if the appointment hasn't started yet: the slot opens automatically once the session moves to in progress.
I created a draft but can't find it after leaving the page. Check that the save had time to complete before leaving the project: name and description changes are saved automatically after a short pause in typing.
I want to reuse the stencil from a previous project. There's no automatic duplication between projects: download the image from the earlier project and re-upload it into the new one.
A reference image brought by the client was filed under the wrong category. Use the menu on the image to adjust its label (reference, placement, or stencil) without having to delete and re-upload it.
