How to price and send a quote?

From a project request, open the quote panel to set the price, duration, and deposit, add an optional message, then send it to the client.

Updated on July 3, 2026

From a project request's detail view, click Send a quote: a panel opens to fill in the price, the estimated duration, and the deposit requested, with an optional message for the client. Once sent, the request moves to "quote sent" status and the client receives the quote for a reply.

Open the quote panel

From Projects > Requests, open the detail of the request you want to price, then click Send a quote. The panel opens on top of the request's detail.

Fill in the quote

The form asks for:

  • The price proposed for the project, in euros.
  • The estimated duration of the session or the project.
  • The estimated number of sessions, if the project is expected to span several visits.
  • The deposit to request from the client once the quote is accepted.
  • A free-text message to explain your pricing or give the client more detail.

The minimum accepted price is €0.01, which leaves room for unusual pricing (discovery offer, goodwill gesture). The deposit is calculated using the same rules as everywhere else on the dashboard: a percentage or a fixed amount, applied to the price you just entered.

Send the quote

Once every field is filled in, confirm the send. The client receives the quote and can accept or decline it. Meanwhile, the request stays visible in "quote sent" status in your requests list.

  • The client accepts: a project is created automatically, ready to be scheduled.
  • The client declines: the request moves to "declined by client" status, and you can send a new proposal from the conversation thread.

Edge cases

You want to revise a quote you already sent. Go back to the request's detail and send a new quote: the client will receive the most recent version.

The client asks for clarification before replying. Reply directly from the conversation thread attached to the request, no need to resend a quote.

You're unsure between a deposit and non-refundable advance for this project. Check the distinction before sending the quote: a non-refundable advance (arrhes) isn't refunded if the client cancels, while a standard deposit is. The choice is set in your payment policy.
