How to send photos, videos, and voice messages?
The composer's attachment button sends up to 10 photos or videos per message; on Instagram and Messenger, tapping the mic icon records a voice message.

In a conversation's reply field, the attachment button sends photos or videos (up to 10 files per message). On Instagram and Messenger, as long as the text field is empty, that same button turns into a mic icon to record a voice message.
Send a photo or video
Click the composer's attachment button and pick one or more files. A preview shows above the input field before sending, with an X to remove a file if needed. You can add up to 10 files per send, with a size limit of 10 MB per photo and 25 MB per video.
Receive a photo or video
Received attachments show up in the message bubble: a single image fills the whole frame, several media items stack. A click opens the photo or video full screen, with keyboard or swipe navigation between the media items of the same message.
Record a voice message
On an Instagram or Messenger conversation, as long as the text field is empty, the send button turns into a mic icon. A tap starts recording: a red dot and a timer appear, with your voice's live waveform. Recording stops automatically after 2 minutes. Clicking send sends the voice message straight into the conversation, with no preview step. The trash icon next to it cancels the recording without sending anything.
Listen to a received voice message
Each received voice message shows up as a dedicated audio player in the thread, with its own waveform. You can click the waveform to jump within playback, and change the playback speed (1x, 1.5x, 2x) via the dedicated chip.
Edge cases
The mic button doesn't appear. It's only available on Instagram and Messenger channels, never on an email channel. Also check that the text field is empty: the mic doesn't appear while you're typing.
The mic or media sending is greyed out. The channel's reply window (24h on Instagram and Messenger) is probably closed. It's the same restriction as for sending text.
A received video or photo takes a while to display in full quality. A low-resolution thumbnail shows first while the full-size media loads, the switch happens automatically.
The browser asks for mic permission. Accept it to be able to record a voice message. If you declined it by mistake, an error message shows under the composer, you can re-allow the mic in your browser settings.
