How do I import my Google reviews?
Connect your Google Business profile to import your existing reviews into SWEB, a feature currently being rolled out account by account.
Updated on July 3, 2026
Importing Google reviews happens from Reviews, with the Import button at the top of the page: connect your Google Business profile, start the import, then find your reviews in your usual table. This feature is currently being rolled out, so it isn't yet visible on every account.
Where the import button is
If the Google import is enabled on your account, an Import button appears in the header of the Reviews page. It won't show if the feature hasn't been rolled out to your account yet: in that case, keep collecting and managing your SWEB reviews as usual, the Google import will arrive later.
How the import works
The flow runs in three steps, in a panel that opens from the Import button.
- Connection. A screen introduces the feature and lets you connect your Google Business account.
- Import in progress. Once connected, a progress bar shows how far along the transfer of your existing reviews is.
- Done. Once the import is complete, your Google reviews appear in your table, alongside your SWEB reviews, with their own source icon.
If you need help during the connection step, a link opens the SWEB support chat directly with the topic pre-filled.
What changes once your reviews are imported
Once imported, your Google reviews are visible in the same table as your SWEB reviews, with a source filter to tell them apart. To reply to a Google review, head to your Google Business profile: that's where the reply needs to be published to stay publicly visible, SWEB redirects you there directly from the review's detail view.
Edge cases
You don't see the Import button on your Reviews page. The feature is rolling out gradually: it isn't active on every account yet. Keep managing your SWEB reviews in the meantime, nothing is lost.
The import seems stuck partway through. Close the panel and restart the import from the Import button: each opening starts fresh from a clean connection.
You want to cancel an import started by mistake. A Cancel import button stays available while the progress is underway.
