How do I split revenue between studio artists?

View the revenue split by artist and the history of payouts already made from Finance > Payouts, exportable to CSV.

From Finance > Payouts, you see the revenue split between your studio's artists, shown as a table and a donut chart color-coded by artist. A second screen, History, lists payouts already made along with their status, exportable to CSV.

This section only shows up for multi-artist studios. If you tattoo solo, there's nothing to split.

View the revenue split

The Payouts screen shows a table and a donut chart color-coded by artist, reflecting each person's share of collected sales. The colors and initials match the ones set on each team member's record.

Check the payout history

The History screen lists payouts already made, filterable by artist. Each row shows its status: paid, pending, or in progress. You can export this list to CSV to cross-check it with your accounting.

Trigger a payout

A dedicated panel lets you create a payout for an artist from the Payouts screen. Once created, it appears in the history with its status.

Edge cases

You don't see the Payouts section. It only appears if your studio has several artists. Solo, this menu doesn't show up since there's no one to split revenue with.

A payout stays "pending" for a long time. Check the history regularly: the status moves to "paid" once the payout has actually been sent on the payment side. If it stays stuck, contact support.

You add a new artist and want them to show up in the split. Make sure they're properly added to the team first: the Payouts split only takes active studio members into account.

You want to check that the amounts match your accounting. Cross-check the history's CSV export with your general accounting export: the two cover different angles, one centered on artists, the other on entries.
