How does the quote work?
After you describe your project, your artist may send you a quote with price, estimated duration, and any deposit required. You just accept it or discuss it.

After you've described your project to your artist, they may send you a quote: a message that details the estimated price, the expected length of the session and, if needed, the deposit required to confirm the appointment. From there, you just accept it, discuss it, or decline it if the project no longer works for you.
What a quote includes
A quote generally covers a few pieces of information to help you picture your project.
- The estimated price of the service, based on what you've described (area, size, style, complexity).
- The expected duration of the session, which can influence which slot to book.
- Any deposit required, if applicable, to confirm your booking.
- A personal message from your artist, sometimes with extra details or follow-up questions about your project.
This price remains an estimate based on the information you've shared: it can change slightly if the project evolves along the way.
How you receive your quote
The quote is sent through the same channel you used for your initial request (message, email). Take the time to read it carefully: it's the right moment to ask any questions before committing.
What to do once you've received the quote
You have three options.
- You accept it: your artist can then send you a link to book your slot and, if a deposit is required, a payment link to confirm it. See Why and how do I pay a deposit?
- You want to adjust the project: get back in touch with your artist to refine some details (size, style, budget). A new quote may be sent.
- You decline: there's nothing else to do, an unaccepted quote creates no obligation on your part.
If you don't hear back quickly
The response time depends on your artist's workload. If several days pass with no news after your initial request, you can follow up directly to check on your project.
A question about the final price
The amount stated in the quote remains an estimate. To understand how it plays out on the day of your session, especially if a deposit has already been paid, see How does payment work on the day of the session?
