How do I leave a review for my artist?

After your session, your artist may invite you to leave a review of your experience. A rating and a comment are enough to help them and guide future clients.

Updated on July 3, 2026

After your session, your artist may send you an invitation to leave a review of your experience. You give a rating and, if you'd like, a comment about your visit. Your review helps your artist improve and guides future clients discovering their work.

How you receive the invitation

Depending on how your artist collects reviews, you may get a message or an email inviting you to share your feedback, usually shortly after your session or during healing. This isn't something you need to start on your own out of the blue: just follow the link if you receive one.

What you can include in your review

A review usually includes a rating and, if you'd like, a free-form comment about your experience: how you were welcomed, the conversation around the project, how the session went, the final result. Feel free to be specific, it helps your artist as much as it helps the next people checking out their profile.

Why your review matters

The tattoo world runs largely on reputation and word of mouth. A genuine review helps your artist showcase their work and helps other clients choose with confidence. Some artists may also reply directly to your review to thank you or add a clarification.

If you want to edit or report a review

If you need to correct or remove a review you've left, the simplest option is to contact your artist directly and explain: there's no dedicated portal for editing a review yourself once it's been sent.

A final step in your journey

Leaving a review often marks the end of your journey with your artist for this project, unless you're already planning another session or a touch-up. See How do I request a touch-up? if an adjustment is needed before wrapping up your project.
