How do I upload my certifications (hygiene, liability insurance, autoclave)?

Upload your regulatory certifications (hygiene training, health authority, liability insurance, autoclave) so your studio stays verifiable and reassuring.

Updated on July 3, 2026

You fill in your regulatory certifications from Settings > Certifications: hygiene and health authority declaration, professional liability insurance, medical waste disposal provider, and your autoclave class. Each section shows a status badge, not submitted, pending, verified, expired, or rejected, and lets you upload a supporting document.

Why these certifications matter

Tattooing is a regulated activity: activity declaration with the local health authority (in France, the ARS), professional insurance, healthcare waste management, compliant sterilization equipment. Sweb structures the centralization of your proof documents in one place, with a verification status showing where you stand, rather than leaving you to manage scattered files. This article stays factual about what the page lets you record, not about the details of the obligations themselves.

What you fill in

  • Hygiene and ARS: two separate lines sharing the same card on screen, the badge shown reflects the worse of the two statuses.
  • Liability insurance: insurer, policy number, expiry date.
  • Medical waste: your healthcare waste collection provider (visible if enabled on your account).
  • Autoclave: the class of your sterilization equipment.

For each section, a supporting document (PDF, JPG, or PNG, 10 MB max) can be uploaded.

How saving works

Uploading a document is independent from saving the form: you can attach a file before even filling in and saving the section's text fields, the corresponding entry is then created automatically. Conversely, for the liability insurance and medical waste sections, the required field (the insurer or the provider) must be filled in for that section to save.

Edge cases

One of your documents is about to expire. The status badge switches to expired, remember to upload a new, up-to-date document to switch back to verified.

The "hygiene certificate number" field has disappeared. That's expected, this field was removed: only the certificate upload is now needed for the hygiene section.

You don't see the medical waste section. It only appears if this feature is enabled on your account.

The form won't save. Check that the required fields in the liability insurance and medical waste sections are filled in, otherwise those sections are skipped on save to avoid an error.
